About

The Beach House is home to Rupert & Rory Keegan, both have experienced Kenya since the late 1960’s and have travelled extensively throughout Africa since then.

Rupert is better known as a former Formula 1 driver from the late 70’s and early 80’s when he raced alongside such legends as Hunt, Lauda and Fittipaldi. A veteran of over 50 GP’s, half a dozen Le Mans 24 hours and a couple of seasons doing ovals in the USA including the fearsome Indy 500 he now commentates for television. He still  drives in selected events such as The Festival of Speed and The Revival at Goodwood, and is still blindly quick. People pay him money to do so, go figure.

He is currently promoting a TV project about surviving high speed crashes. Something he knows a lot about, and has been very successful at doing over the years.

Rory is best known for his eponymous nightclub creation Chinawhite, which swept all before it at the turn of the century in London. He spends eight months a year at the Beach House and is Fang’s official biographer. Chinawhite still ploughs along in London with several offshoots in Europe. Rory still ploughs on as well….

The Beach House is run by Rehema Amiri who has worked with Rory & Rupert since 2010, she is supported by Ali and Samuel. When overwhelmed her Mother pitches in.
